Notes
This recipe is another example of a better-for-you application of this delicious and versatile probiotic food source: sauerkraut! Anytime we are able to prepare a dish at home, we're able to control exactly what goes in to it-in this instance, our Gnarly Jalapeño Poppers contain whole + real ingredient components that contain a fraction of the sodium in commercially prepared apps and still very filling with less empty calories. I love jalapeños as a vehicle in this recipe to provide the same crunch as a chip with capsaicin to carry awesome flavor, vitamin C, and fiber! Lastly, we can't forget the sauerkraut that provides a punch of flavor and a little love to our sometimes-neglected, hard-working gut!!
