Ingredients

2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves, chopped

1 medium sweet onion, sliced

1 clove garlic, unpeeled

4 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/2 c. low-fat sour cream, optional

1/4 c. mayonnaise, optional

4 tbsp. Roasted Garlic Kraut

2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Bread or pita chips, for serving
Instructions

Combine oil, thyme, and pepper in bowl; mix ingredients. Brush mixture over onion. On medium-high heat, grill onion and garlic until tender and slightly charred.

Transfer onion and garlic to plate to cool.
- Peel garlic and place in food processor along with the onion.
- Pulse just until chopped. Add Roasted Garlic Kraut, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and salt; pulse until combined but not smooth.
- Transfer to serving bowl. Garnish with Roasted Garlic Kraut.
- Serve cold or warm with bread or pita chips.

Notes
Onions: Use a sweeter one such as Vidalia, or use white or red. They all have different strengths and flavor levels, so you'll get different results. But they're all great!
